Kouichi Aihara (相原 光一, Aihara Kōichi)
The main protagonist in the game (his name can be changed by player) and also in Various Heroines manga. Student of class 2A and older brother of Nana. In the anime this character was split in two - Kouichi Sanada (he received Kouichi's looks) and Kazuki Aihara (he received Kouichi's soccer skills and Nana become his sister).
Kouichi Sanada (真田 光一, Sanada Kōichi)
Voiced by: Satoshi Hino (anime)
The main protagonist in the anime. He, Kazuki, and Mao are childhood friends. Initially, he has feelings for Yuumi Hoshino but began to realize his feelings for Mao.
Kazuki Aihara (相原 一輝, Aihara Kazuki)
Voiced by: Takahiro Mizushima (anime)
An anime only character and the second protagonist, he is Kouichi's classmate and good friend. Kazuki enjoys playing soccer and his love interest is Eriko.
Mao Mizusawa (水澤 摩央, Mizusawa Mao)
Voiced by: Haruna Ikezawa (game and anime)
Mao is very active, energetic, and cheerful student of older class 3A. In anime after moving back to Japan from Paris, she lived with Kouichi and his mom but moves due to her feelings for Kouichi, although the two go to the same school.
Yuumi Hoshino (星乃 結美, Hoshino Yūmi)
Voiced by: Ami Koshimizu (game and anime)
Kouichi's classmate, who works in school library. In anime she is Kouichi's love interest. She is always shy but from the help of Mao and the others, she began to speak up a little. She also has feelings for Kouichi and throughout the story they began to date, but began to realize Kouichi has feelings for Mao.
Asuka Sakino (咲野 明日夏, Sakino Asuka)
Voiced by: Ryou Hirohashi (game and anime)
A tomboy from parallel class 2С (in anime she is in Kouichi's and Kazuki's class 2A), who loves to play soccer. In anime she starts to have feelings for Kazuki after he helped her.
Eriko Futami (二見 瑛理子, Futami Eriko)
Voiced by: Rie Tanaka (game and anime)
An extremely introvert girl from parallel class 2С, who is always cold to others and has an IQ score of 190. She usually loiters in the science lab. In anime she starts performing experiments with Kazuki by doing romantic actions (such as kissing him) when he stumbled upon her to find out why people fall in love. Gradually she opens up to others and develops feelings for Kazuki.
Mitsuki Shijyo (祇条 深月, Shijō Mitsuki)
Voiced by: Mamiko Noto (game and anime)
A wealthy girl from parallel class 2С, who can play the piano. She has had an arranged engagement most of her life yet never met the man. In anime she begins having feelings for Hiiragi.
Narumi Satonaka (里仲 なるみ, Satonaka Narumi)
Voiced by: Kaori Mizuhashi (game and anime)
Good friend and classmate of Nana. Expert at cooking udon and has a strong interest of creating new varieties of udon. Like Nana, she also carries an accessory depicting a frog called Juliet.
Nana (菜々, Nana)
Voiced by: Sakura Nogawa (game and anime)
She is younger sister of Kouichi in the game (Kazuki's younger sister in the anime). She carries an accessory depicting a green frog called Iwao.
Eiji Kai (甲斐 栄二, Kai Eiji)
Voiced by: Takahiro Sakurai (anime)
An anime only character. Mao's classmate, who plays the saxophone and works in a jazz bar. Initially, he did not want to get along with Mao but gradually opens up to her. He and Mao date for a while but she breaks up with him after she admits her feelings for Kouichi to him, although they remain friends.
Akira Hiiragi (柊 明良, Hiiragi Akira)
Voiced by: Jun Fukuyama (game and anime)
President of the Movie Research Club. He always forces Kouichi and Kazuki into helping him with the movie films. He has a mental list of trivia about almost every girl in the school even though he is "dating" someone from another school, "Male Prudence" he calls it.
Megumi Kuryuu (栗生 恵, Kuryū Megumi)
Voiced by: Mai Nakahara (game and anime)
Member of disciplinary group. She is high strung and the self-appointed head of the school morals enforcement agency. In anime her love interest is Hiiragi.
Tomoko Kawada (川田 知子, Kawada Tomoko)
Voiced by: Ayako Kawasumi (game and anime)
School's teacher for modern Japanese language and adviser of swimming club. She is Mao Mizusawa's home room teacher.

Kouichi Aihara is a high school student who just came back from summer vacation. He has never been kissed and after returning to school he decides to develop a romantic relationship with a girl during 30 days. Kouichi Sanada and Kazuki Aihara's childhood friend Mao Mizusawa has returned after living in France for a couple of years. Kouichi is surprised to learn that, since her parents are remaining overseas for the time being, his mother has agreed to let Mao stay with them. The three friends help each other deal with the ups and downs of high school romance.

Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You (君に届け, lit. Reaching you) is a romance shōjo manga by Karuho Shiina (Shīna Karuho). It has been published by Shueisha in Bessatsu Margaret since 2006 and collected in 8 tankōbon volumes as of November 2008. In 2008 it won the Best Shōjo Manga award in the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Award for best shōjo manga. An anime adaptation of Kimi no Todoke is currently announced for Fall 2009 by Production I.G., and an unconfirmed live-action TV drama is also said to be in the making for April 2009.
Sawako Kuronuma, called Sadako by her classmates for her resemblance to the character from Ring, has always been feared and misunderstood because of her appearance. There are rumors that Sawako can see ghosts and curse people. But when her idol, popular boy Kazehaya, begins talking with her, everything changes. She finds herself in a new world, trying to make friends and talking to different people and she can't thank Kazehaya enough for giving her these opportunities. Slowly, but surely, a sweet love is blossoming between the two as they will overtake any circumstance or clear obstacles in their way.

Kiddy Grade (キディ・グレイド) is a 24 episode science fiction anime series produced in 2002 and created by gímik and Gonzo Digimation and directed by Keiji Gotoh. The series is licensed and distributed in North America by FUNimation Entertainment. The series currently airs on the FUNimation Channel in both its "syndicated block" and its 24-hour channel. In 2007, the series was re-released as three movies (each 80–90 minutes in length) to specific Japanese theatres.
The individual titles for these films are
Ignition (initial screening 2007-04-07, DVD released 2007-07-27)
Maelstrom (initial screening 2007-06-23, DVD released 2007-09-28), and
Truth Dawn (initial screening 2007-09-01, DVD released 2007-12-21).
In October 2006 news of a Kiddy Grade sequel was announced, under the working title of Kiddy Grade 2 (キディ・グレイド2) (K-G.2), to be animated by asread (Shuffle! anime). A DVD containing a 7-minute preview of the new series was released on 2007-05-25 but nothing further was heard until, on February 26, 2009 it was re-announced under the new title Kiddy Girl-and (キディ・ガーランド, Kidi Gārando) along with news of a new manga adaptation, Kiddy Girl-and Pure (キディ・ガーランド ぴゅあ, Kidi Gārando Pyua). The anime is now being produced by studio Satelight, based on a story by gímik that is set two centuries further into the future, in the Star Century year 0379, and introduces two new female characters, Ascœur (アスクール, Asukūru) and Q-feuille (ク・フィーユ, Ku Fīyu). The manga version, with story by Hidefumi Kimura and art by Yukari Higa (Shina Dark), is being serialized in the Comp Ace magazine, starting from March 26, 2009
