Full Metal Panic! (フルメタル·パニック! Furumetaru Panikku!, often abbreviated to FMP!) is an ongoing series of light novels written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Shiki Douji. The series follows Sousuke Sagara, a member of the covert anti-terrorist private military organization known as Mithril, tasked with protecting Kaname Chidori, a spirited Japanese high school girl.

Individual chapters are published on Monthly Dragon Magazine, followed by a paperback compilation released by Fujimi Shobo's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. The novels are split between stories focusing on Sousuke's mission as a soldier of Mithril and comedic side stories centered on his life at Jindai High School.

Fullmetal Alchemist (lit. "Alchemist of Steel"), commonly abbreviated as FMA or Hagaren by fans, is a manga series created by Hiromu Arakawa and serialized in Enix's (now Square Enix) Monthly Shonen Gangan. Fullmetal Alchemist has also been adapted into an anime TV series and a movie sequel, as well as several spin-off novels and video games. The FMA manga is still running in Japan, and 15 volumes have been released so far. The FMA anime, on the other hand, is finished, and consists of 51 episodes and a full-length movie sequel. The Fate/stay night manga, illustrated by Nishiwaki Datto, began serialization in the manga magazine Shōnen Ace, published by Kadokawa Shoten, on December 26, 2005. It is an adaption of the Fate/stay night visual novel, rather than then anime. In contrast to the anime, the manga focuses solely on the Unlimited Blade Works scenario of the game, and has refrained from pooling story elements from the sister scenarios, Fate/hollow ataraxia or Fate/Zero. Currently, only one bound volume has been released. The Fate/stay night anime series aired between January 6, 2006 and June 16, 2006, containing 24 episodes. It was animated by Studio Deen and produced by the Fate Project. Characters: Shirō Emiya, Saber, Rin Tōsaka, Archer, Berserker, Shinji Matō.
